Bill Reilly retired from the Hartford (CT) Police Department as an Assistant Chief of Police, climbing through the ranks by being promoted in the #1 position on each of his promotional lists (Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, Assistant Chief) after testing against as many as 200 competitors. Bill has now taken the achievement strategies that brought him that success and made them the core of his coaching and training programs.

Recognizing that communication is at the heart of all organizational success, Bill achieved a Master’s degree in Communication from Central Connecticut State University to assure that the guidance he gives is founded in research. His law enforcement leadership experience, achieved in part through successful assignments as chief of staff, police academy commander, patrol district commander and bomb squad commander, was supplemented by his participation & graduation from the 213th Session of the FBI National Academy.

Additionally, Bill is certified as both a professional coach and as a law enforcement instructor, having taught thousands of law enforcement officers throughout the country. He holds memberships in a the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA), FBI National Academy Associates (FBINAA).  Additionally, Bill met the criteria for acceptance as an active professional member of the National Speakers Association (NSA) and is currently a board member of its Connecticut chapter. His commitment to helping police professionals achieve is demonstrated in the unique goal-focus of each of his programs.
